By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. Check the Auction’s Home Page to see if a Preview Day is offered. If so, it is highly recommended that bidders attend.
EXTENDED BIDDING: If a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes, the auction will automatically extend for an additional 2 minutes.
18% Buyers Premium is added to every purchase – not every item.
6% Virginia Sales Tax will be added for bidders that are not tax exempt.
TAX EXEMPT: A valid copy of your tax exemption document MUST be uploaded when completing your registration or before noon on the day the auction closes. We will not refund sales tax collected after the auction closes to bidders who have not uploaded their tax exemption document on time.
CREDIT CARDS ONLY ACCEPTED. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If the winning bidder's credit card is declined, winner will need to contact info.dominionestatesales@gmail.com immediately with another credit card. If payment is not made within two (2) days of auction closing, item will be forfeited.
REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS: The removal location, date and time will be listed in an email with the winning bidder’s paid receipt. If buyer is unable to pick up their items during the scheduled period, they will need to contact info.dominionestatesales@gmail.com for an alternate date, if available. This must be done within two (2) days after the auction closes. If item is not picked up, no refund will be given and item will be forfeited.
** IMPORTANT: If buyer chooses to have someone other than themselves pick up their items, or uses a packing/delivery service, this person must have a copy of the paid receipt to show to the Dominion Estate Sales staff member onsite. All arrangements for using a packing/delivery service are done by the buyer. An internet search for local pick-up and delivery services may help.
** IMPORTANT: We do not supply any packing materials, tools or loading assistance for your purchased items. Any buyer who comes to a removal unprepared without the necessary materials, loading assistance or properly-sized vehicles will be asked to schedule an alternate date, if available.
For internet only auctions, Dominion Estate Sales reserves the right to cancel and/or re-open the auction in case of system failures.
Failure to abide by these Terms and Conditions will result in bidder being barred from future Dominion Estate Sales’ online auctions.
